We are currently finishing and delivering new Covey oboes, both Classic and Traditional bore models, and have more in the "pipeline" for the rest of the year! If you are interested in trying a new Covey, please call and make arrangements! For those of our friends who remember Paul and his Covey oboes from his Baltimore days, he moved to Atlanta in October, 1996. We had a small but wonderful shop on Bennett Street, for 10+ years, nestled in between the art galleries, rug dealers, antique shops and restaurants... but now we're in Blairsville, 1 block from the central town square. From our windows, we see the lovely historic courthouse, with an old-fashioned traffic circle around it. There are festivals here all Fall: Blue Grass Festival, Sorghum Festival (sorghum is a local cane syrup which is very delicious!), there's a Country Fair, the Campbell Folk Arts School has a festival near here, etc. We're walking distance from most of the downtown area, and we can promise you about the best Reuben sandwich we're ever had only one block away... But most importantly, this is an area where we can focus on our work....
